Entrepreneurship & Innovation
Institutions are turning to more engaging and interactive pedagogies to boost recruitment and retention in STEM fields. Pedagogical tools often used to promote creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship are being incorporated into curricular, co- and extra-curricular initiatives in order to address the need for a more qualified STEM workforce. Our work has focused on issues concerning infusing I&E into the academic environment, educating for emerging technologies, interdisciplinary graduate student education, translational research, and supporting changes at all levels of the educational systems (STEP). We have also conducted research on scaling and sustaining educational innovations (I-Corps-L, Synergy).
