SageFox Consulting Group specializes in rigorous educational research, evaluation, and capacity-building across K–12 and higher education, with a strong focus on driving institutional change and broadening participation in STEM and computing. Our portfolio centers heavily on advancing equity for underrepresented and historically marginalized populations—including women, Black, Latinx, Indigenous, low-income, first-generation, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent/disabled learners—across critical transition points in the academic and workforce pipeline.

Our project portfolio focuses on high-impact, national, and state-level initiatives:

• Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Technologies: Equipping high school educators to integrate generative AI and AI literacy into K–12 STEM classrooms, examining state-level K–12 AI policy guidance, and evaluating workforce reskilling models in microelectronics and semiconductor manufacturing (CHIPS Act talent pipelines).

• Broadening Participation in Computing (BPC) & State Systems: Leading and evaluating national backbone initiatives such as the Expanding Computing Education Pathways Alliance (ECEP), evaluating the LEAP Alliance to diversify PhDs and the computing professoriate, and establishing national Common Metrics projects to track K–12 computing access, participation, and policy outcomes longitudinally.

• Institutional Change & Postsecondary Pathways: Facilitating multi-institutional STEM retention, community college transfer, and graduate pathways through major NSF Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP), S-STEM scholarship networks, and the NSF INCLUDES Engineering PLUS Alliance.

• Translational Research & Applied Innovation: Assessing regional innovation engines, Accelerating Research Translation (ART) projects, and ethics integration in computing curricula (PEaRCE).
   

This recent momentum builds upon a foundational history of evaluation in STEM learning environments, instructional design, K–12 teacher professional development, and undergraduate research interventions. Collectively, SageFox's work combines longitudinal data analysis, collaborative learning communities, and rigorous evaluation methodologies to translate research into scalable, equity-focused educational practices.
