Jeffrey Xavier

Jeffrey Xavier joined SageFox Consulting Group in June 2009 as a researcher and evaluator. He received his B.A. in 2004 from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, with a dual major in psychology and sociology. In 2009, Mr. Xavier received his M.A. in Applied Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Boston. During his time at UMass Boston, Mr. Xavier worked as a teaching assistant and research assistant. He also worked in the pre-publication revision process for several research methods and statistics textbooks and undertook multiple internships, exploring fields such as evaluation research and market research. Mr. Xavier has some background in computers, and has taken classes in programming, databases, and operating systems. His work at SageFox mostly involves domestic projects which deal largely with the issue of increasing the participation and retention of underrepresented students in college, particularly in Science Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields.
