Elsa Wiehe
Trained in qualitative methodological approaches to research and evaluation, Elsa Wiehe brings expertise to various educational evaluation activities, including developing partner assessment models, collaborating with implementing partners on custom database systems, training and consulting partners, and conducting case study research. She has worked in monitoring, evaluation and reporting in the context of USAID's Ambassadors Girls Scholarship Program - Africa Education Initiative since 2005. Prior to joining SageFox, Ms. Wiehe was engaged in the Austrian educational system in primary and secondary English-Language education, teacher training and consulting. A dual Mauritian and US national, Ms. Wiehe brings her French and English skills to bear on her training and evaluation work with Non-Governmental-Organizations in Africa. She holds a master's degree in Bilingual and Multicultural Education and is currently completing her doctoral dissertation on environmental literacy and citizenship education in Mauritius at the Teacher Education and Curriculum Studies Department of the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
